NEWARK, DE – Ann Carozza (West Chester, Pa./East) won three events while teammates
Maddy Koehle (State College, Pa./State College Area) won both breaststrokes and
Mikayla Niness (Spring City, Pa./Owen J. Roberts) won one and was runner up in two others. But, it was not enough to overcome host Delaware, 193-106, in a non-league contest Saturday afternoon.

Carozza continued her dominant seasonal performance with wins in both the 100- and 200-yard butterfly as well as the 200 freestyle. The senior is right on track for another outstanding conference meet and NCAA Championship competition.

"We put Ann to work today," Mazurek admitted. "Boy, did she show up. We are all really proud of the season she is putting together."

Niness won the 50 free in 24.37 seconds while taking second in both the 100 free (53.07) and 1000 free (10:36.38). Koehle posted a winning time of 1:06.53 in the 100 breast and 2:24.92 in the 200 breast.

The Golden Rams will be back in the pool on Friday, Jan. 28 for Senior Night when another Division I foe, UPenn, comes calling to Graham Natatorium for a 6 p.m. start.
