LOCK HAVEN, Pa.- The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) released its men's soccer All-Conference teams on Thursday afternoon and West Chester was well represented with five players earning All-League honors, including a trio of First-Team selections.

Andrew Markopoulos (Drexel Hill, Pa./Msgr. Bonner & Prendergast), Craig Potts (Stewartstown, Pa./Kennard Dale) and Daniel Good (Exton, Pa./Downingtown East) all earned First Team All-PSAC East honors while Frankie Taylor (Delran, N.J./Delran) and Jason Goldfeder (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cedar Cliff) secured Second Team All-PSAC East recognition.

Markopoulos, Potts, and Good led the West Chester defense throughout the season and were major keys to the success of the Golden Rams throughout the 2022 campaign, holding opponents to an average of just 1.24 goals per game on the season.

In addition to their defensive contributions, Markopoulos and Potts also helped lead the team offensively, ranking first and second on the team in scoring with Markopoulos, leading the way with six goals for 12 points while Potts logged four goals and two assists for 10 points of his own in the regular season.

In between the pipes, Good turned in another stellar season, finishing the regular season with a record of 8-5-2 with four shutouts and a 1.27 goals-against average. Good's four shutouts n the year allowed him to continue his climb through the record book, moving into a tie for first in career shutouts while his eight victories also moved him into fourth all-time in career wins, passing Garrett Santora who earned 30 victories from 2005-08.

Taylor earned his first career All-Conference honor with a spot on the second team after scoring three goals and adding two assists for eight points on the year. The 2022 campaign was a breakout season for the redshirt-sophomore from the Garden State, as he scored his first career points this season with a three-point effort against Goldey-Beacom early in the season before scoring his first career game-winning goal against Shippensburg in October as the Golden Rams went on a run to qualify for the PSAC Tournament. Taylor also scored a goal in the PSAC Tournament Quarterfinal setback vs East Stroudsburg on Tuesday night.

Goldfeder who is concluding a standout freshman season also earned his first career all-conference honor after concluding the year with one goal and four assists. Goldfeder and Taylor were a dangerous combination for opposing teams throughout the season as the two had a knack for finding each other in space, leading to goals and dangerous scoring opportunities throughout the 2022 season.
