KANSAS CITY, Mo.- The United Soccer Coaches Association released its team academic awards on Thursday morning and the West Chester men's soccer team was one of the 220 men's soccer programs honored by the association. Additionally, West Chester is one of just 130 schools to have both its men's and women's soccer programs recognized by the association.
To be eligible for the team academic award, programs must record a team GPA of 3.0 or above. West Chester earned the award after posting a team GPA of 3.24.

Michael Benn and the Golden Rams are slated to open their new season on Thursday, August 25
th at home against Jefferson beginning at 4 p.m.
