WEST CHESTER, PA –
Emma Davies (Kennett Square, Pa./Kennett) posted a career-best 20 points while
Ty Hickey (Harleysville, Pa./Souderton) added a career-high 18 as host West Chester cruised to an 87-0 victory over visiting New Haven Saturday afternoon on the rugby pitch on South Campus.
West Chester (2-2) picked up its second straight win to pull to .500 on the year following a pair of losses to start the fall.
Davies scored a pair of trys and added five conversions while Hickey had a pair of trys and four conversions in the win.
Alyssa Miller (Philadelphia, Pa. Girard Academic Music Program),
Bridget Kowalski (Chester Springs, Pa./Owen J. Roberts) and
Katie LaCosta (Kennett Square, Pa./Kennett) each registered their first career trys while Lillian Rhode made a conversion for her first career points.
West Chester returns to the pitch next Saturday for a home match against American International College at 3 p.m.
