WEST CHESTER, PA – Head coach
Bill Zwaan and the West Chester University football team announced its 2022 National Letter of Intent Signing Day this morning. A total of 31 new members, including spring transfers, make up the newest class of Golden Rams.
The class consists of 17 offensive players, 13 defensive players and one special teamer. Seven of the 17 offensive players are on the offensive line while five of the 13 defensive players are along the line as well.
"My staff did an excellent job in recruiting this class," head coach
Bill Zwaan said. "Our number one goal was to build depth on our offensive and defensive lines. I feel like we got that done. We picked up some really good skill at wide receiver and defensive back and added a couple of outstanding linebackers.
"We also picked up a couple of transfers who will likely contribute right away. We added some help to a make a good team better right away and built for the future at the same time."
West Chester officially begins its spring practice on Monday, April 3 and will conclude with the annual spring game on Friday, April 28 at 7 pm.
