INDIANAPOLIS, IND. –
Paul Demesy (Saint Ulrich, France) placed 10th in the 1000-yard freestyle to earn West Chester University's first points at the 2023 NCAA Division II Swimming & Diving Championships Wednesday evening inside the Indiana Natatorium.
Demesy picked up seven points for the Golden Rams, touching the wall in 9 minutes, 9.91 seconds. Teammate
Collin Pettit (Havertown, Pa./Haverford) placed 19th in the 1000 as well.
Kolos Nagy (Szazhalombatta, Hungary) finished 41st in the 200 IM with a time of 1:52.34.
Thursday morning sees prelims in the 100 butterfly, the 400 IM, 200 free and 3-meter diving competitions. The finals in those events will take place at night, along with the 400 medley relay.
