JOHNSTOWN, Pa.- Evan Jozwiak (Sinking Spring, Pa./Wilson) shot a second-round 69 to finish in a tie for seventh at three-over (74, 69; 143) and help lead the West Chester University men's golf team to a tie for fourth on the team leaderboard with a two-day score of 585 (293, 292; 585)at the UPJ Sunnehanna Collegiate on Tuesday afternoon.
Jozwiak opened his Tournament with a four-over 74 on Monday but carded five birdies on Tuesday, including one on the par-four eighth and four on the back nine, including the par-five 11
th, 16
th, par-three 16
th, and par-four 17
th to climb into the top-10.
Connor Strine (Lancaster, Pa./Manheim Township) also finished in a tie for seventh after two birdies on the back nine to overcome a pair of doubles on the front and finish his weekend at three-over (68, 75; 143).
Gannon held on to its first-round lead to claim the team title, finishing with a two-day score of 564 (285, 279), while Mattia Parrini held on for the individual title as well after shooting a second-round 71 to finish at -2 (67, 71; 138) for the Tournament.
