Will Hilton (Gibsonia, Pa./Pine-Richland) earned Athlete of the Week honors after his Dr. Edwin B. Cottrell Invitational Championship on Tuesday.
Hilton won the individual title at the Dr. Edwin B. Cottrell Invitational at Penn Oaks on Tuesday afternoon with back-to-back rounds of 72 (+4; 144) to finish atop the 69-player leaderboard. Hilton bested a number of Division I golfers from Lafayette and Rider, who took first and second on the team leaderboard and helped West Chester to a fourth-place team finish with a 36-hole score of 611 (306, 305).
West Chester will be back in action on Monday at the Cecil C. Spadafora Invitational at Indiana Country Club hosted by IUP.
