Men's Golf Seventh After Second Round of PSAC Championships

Full Leaderboard
Round Three Tee Times
LEBANON, Pa.-Connor Strine (Lancaster, Pa./Manheim Township)
remains the top Golden Ram on the leaderboard after the second round of the PSAC Men's Golf Championships, residing in 17th at nine-over after signing for an 80 in the second round of the Championships on Saturday afternoon. Ethan Martin (North Wales, Pa./La Salle College) and Ryan D'Ariano (West Chester, Pa./Rustin) tied for the low round for West Chester on Saturday as they both signed for a 78, which led West Chester to a second-round score of 315, which moved the Golden Rams two-day score of 623. West Chester's 36-hole score of 623 has the Golden Rams seventh on the team leaderboard entering the third and final round on Sunday afternoon.

Martin carded just one birdie (the par-four second) in his second round on Saturday but did an excellent job of playing smart golf, registering a bogey on just four of the other 17 holes. D'Ariano carded three birdies in his second round, carding a birdie on the par-five third, par-five seventh, and the par-five 16th. Perhaps the hole of the day for West Chester belonged to Adam MacMillan (Cranbury, N.J./Princeton) as the senior carded an eagle on the par-five third and became one of just 10 players to record an eagle this week.

Gannon, who had an outstanding opening-round on Friday, heading into the weekend at -10 as a team, was also victimized by a more challenging Iron Valley course on Saturday afternoon, registering a team-score of 293 (+5) to move its two-day score to 571 (278, 293). The Golden Knights still have a comfortable lead heading into Sunday, leading second-place Millersville by 26 strokes after the Marauders fired a 308 (+20) on Saturday to move their two-day score to 597 (289, 308).
