BEDFORD, Pa.- The West Chester University men's golf team finished in a tie for second with a 36-hole score of 592 (301, 291), finishing just a stroke back of a tie for first with Glenville State after sitting atop the leaderboard with the Pioneers for much of the second round on Tuesday at the Bedford Springs Intercollegiate.
Yamato Kimura (Kuwana Mie, Japan/Monteverde Academy) and
Nathan Radwanski (Mohnton, Pa./Governor Mifflin) fired low rounds for West Chester of 71 (-1) to finish sixth and 12th overall at +2 (76, 71; 146) and +4 (77, 71; 148), respectively.
Glenville State won the team title with a 36-hole score of 591, while Hector Arriaga and Adam Gill of West Liberty finished in a tie atop the individual leaderboard with identical scores of two-under par with 70s on Monday and even-par rounds of 72 on Tuesday.
