Last Time Out
Searching for its first win of the year, West Chester traveled to Springfield, Massachusetts last weekend and found itself on the wrong end of an 84-3 setback against perennial power AIC. West Chester kept it close early, scoring in the first 10 minutes thanks to an Emma Davies (Kennett, Pa./Kennett) penalty kick to make the score 7-3 early. AIC took over from this point to post a convincing 84-3 victory over the Golden Rams.
Road Warriors
West Chester opened its season with two straight matchups away from home, visiting Long Island and AIC to open the year and will return to the road for three more away from home after this week. Following this brief stop at home, West Chester will visit New Haven next week, Kutztown on October 5 and Navy on October 12 before returning to South Campus for its final two games of the regular season.
