GREENSBURG, Pa.- Connor Strine (Lancaster, Pa./Manheim Township) resides in a tie for second at one-under the end of the first day of play at the Hannastown Collegiate Invitational at Hannastown Golf Club in Greensburg. Originally scheduled to play 36 holes on Monday and the remaining 18 on Tuesday, play was suspended late in the second round on Monday night due to darkness after play had been delayed earlier in the day due to rain. West Chester currently sits in a tie for sixth on the team leaderboard at 21-over for the Tournament with 34 holes complete.
Strine opened the Tournament with a two-under 68 in the first round on Monday morning, carding just two bogeys against four birdies on the par-four fourth, par-five eighth, 12
th, and 14
th. Strine and most of the field have two holes to finish on Tuesday morning before beginning the third round. The senior is currently one-over in the second round, heading to the par-four 17
th after carding an eagle on the par-five 14
th late in his second round.
