KENOSHA, Wi.- Josh Miller (Coatesville, Pa./Coatesville) finished 62nd in 31 minutes and 4.0 seconds at the NCAA Division II Men's Cross Country Championships on Saturday afternoon at the Wayne E. Dannehl National Cross Country Course in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
Miller is the first Golden Ram to advance to the men's championships since Josh Coakley appeared for the second year in a row in 2019.
Miller steadily moved his way through the pack on Saturday, scoring in 128th after the first kilometer before climbing to his 62nd-place finish after breaking into the top-70 in the final kilometer of the 10K Championship.
Kidus Begashaw of Adams State was the Individual National Champion in 29:38.8 while Wingate won the Team National Championship with a team score of 62.
West Chester will be back in action the first weekend in December to get its indoor track and field season underway.
