SHIPPENSBURG, PA – West Chester University's football team closes out its road slate for the 2025 season at Shippensburg University Saturday at 1 p.m. for a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division contest at Seth Grove Stadium.
Tickets to Saturday's Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division showdown are $10 for adults; senior citizens and students $5; and children undr 5 are free. Active military personnel are free with valid military ID to Saturday's game.
All tickets are CASH ONLY at Shippensburg University events.
Tickets can be purchased on game day at ticket booths located at both entrances to Seth Grove Stadium. GPS address for the stadium is: 530 LANCASTER DRIVE, SHIPPENSBURG, PA 17257.

ABOUT THE GOLDEN RAMS
West Chester (4-5, 2-4 PSAC East) is currently tied for fifth place in the league standings with Shippensburg (2-7, 2-4). The Golden Rams lead the all-time series with the Raiders, 32-13-1 and have won the last two meetings between the schools.
West Chester is coming off a thrilling triple overtime victory at home over Bloomsburg last week. Sr., QB
Cooper Jordan returned from injury to lead West Chester to the win. He was named the PSAC East co-offensive athlete of the week for his heroics in the overtime periods.
West Chester's defense ranks fourth in the conference averaging 332.3 yards allowed per game for its opponents. The Golden Rams' rank third in the PSAC in passing defense and are tied for the team lead in interceptions with 12. Teams only complete about 55 percent of their passes against the purple & gold, and West Chester only surrenders about 176 passing yards per game.
However, the run defense has been the team's Achillies Heel. West Chester ranks 10th in the conference in stopping the run. Opponents average 209 rushing yards per game against the Golden Rams.

Khalil Owens eclipsed 3,000 career all-purpose yards on his 8-yard TD reception. He has 1,750 career rushing yards. Another milestone was met last week when Sr., LB
Connor Noble made is 300th career tackle. He became just the 10th player in school history to reach that number and just the fourth to do it in three years.
Meanwhile, Sr. QB
Cooper Jordan is currently 15th on the school's all-time rushing chart with 2,390 career rushing yards. He also stands eighth all-time in passing yards with 5,530 passing yards to his credit. His 43 career TD passes ranks ninth all-time at the school.
Head coach
Duke Greco will go for his 100th career coaching victory on Saturday at Shippensburg. He racked up 91 of those victories over a 10-year span at Delaware Valley and has the other eight in the year and a half here at West Chester.
ABOUT SHIPPENSBURG
Shippensburg has dropped its last three contests and are looking to rebound and leap over West Chester in the conference standings with a win on Saturday. The Raiders are 2-2 at home with today and next Saturday against Cal U still to go on the home slate. Shippensburg dropped its road contest one week ago at Shepherd.
Shippensburg ranks ninth in the PSAC in passing offense – one spot ahead of West Chester in that category. The Raiders are ranked fifth in the conference in kick off returns. Special teams and kick coverage has been a struggle for the Golden Rams all season.
Quarterback Riley Gunnels ranks seventh in the conference in passing. He completes 62 percent of his passes and has 1,825 yards passing and 11 touchdowns on the year.
Defensively, Nate Myers ranks third in the PSAC in tackles with 82 stops. He is fourth in the league in tackles for a loss with 11.5.
