MILLERSVILLE, Pa.- The Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) released its Baseball All-Region teams on Tuesday morning.
Sean Szestowicki (Mount Royal, N.J./Kingsway) and
Kyle Lazer (Havertown, Pa./Msgr. Bonner & Prendie) earned Second Team All-Region honors after excellent 2025 seasons.
This is the second postseason honor of the year for Szestowicki, who was a PSAC East First Team All-Conference selection earlier this month, and the third honor for Lazer, who was a PSAC East Second Team All-League pick and NCBWA Second Team All-Region pick.
Szestowicki concluded his final season as a Golden Ram with a team-best .337 batting average, accumulating 61 hits, including 11 doubles, two triples, and four home runs, while scoring 42 runs and driving in 39 RBI. The veteran middle infielder also stole a team-best 18 bases on 22 attempts and worked 20 walks, while posting a .963 fielding percentage with a role played in 24 double plays this season.
Lazer finished the season with a record of 8-3 in 13 starts with four complete games. The junior posted a 3.17 ERA and a .242 batting average against, while striking out a staff-best 75 in 71 innings of work, including 10 in a complete-game victory over Mansfield to conclude the regular season.
West Chester's 2025 season came to a close on Saturday night in Delaware, as the Golden Rams fell to East Stroudsburg in an NCAA Tournament elimination game after losing to Fairmont State in their opening game on Thursday afternoon.
