MacMillan Named Collegiate Sports Communicators Academic All-District

Full Release
WEST CHESTER, Pa.-
The Collegiate Sports Communicators (CSC) released its Academic All-District Men's At Large team on Tuesday afternoon. Adam MacMillan (Cranbury, N.J./Princeton) added another award to his growing trophy case as he was named Academic All-District in recognition of his efforts in the classroom and on the golf course.

To be eligible for this award, student-athletes must possess at least a 3.50 GPA and have played in 70 % of the team's total varsity events, which were team-scoring events.

Academic All-District® honorees are considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. The first-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in July.

The NCAA Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures, which assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2023-24 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs.

This is the second academic honor of the year for MacMillan, as he was also recognized as the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Men's Golf Champion Scholar ahead of the start of the PSAC Championships as the golfer with the top GPA in the field at the 2024 PSAC Championships.

MacMillan enjoyed a solid senior season on the course for the Golden Rams, playing in eight Tournaments and posting a 77.8 adjusted scoring average in his 17 rounds. His top finish was a fifth-place finish in his season debut at the Alvernia Fall Invitational when he shot a five-over 77 before finishing 29th at the PSAC Men's Golf Championships with a 54-hole score of +20 (236). Just one day after being honored as the PSAC Champion Scholar, MacMillan opened the Tournament with a 77 before signing for an 83 in the second round and a 76 in the third and final round to finish in the top-30.
