PENN vs WCU SWIM RESULTS
WEST CHESTER, PA –
Lenya Ryan (Wilmington, DEL/Mt. Pleasant) made the most of her Senior Night with three first-place ribbons, but it was not enough to overcome University of Pennsylvania in a non-conference women's swim meet inside Graham Natatorium Friday evening, 179-115.
West Chester celebrated Senior Night in a brief ceremony before the final regular-season dual meet. The Golden Rams honored their two seniors,
Isabella Kil (Enola, PA/East Pennsboro), and Ryan.
Ryan won both breaststrokes and the 200-yard Individual Medley to highlight her historic senior celebration meet. Meanwhile, Kil was runner-up to Ryan in all three of those events while helping the 200 medley relay finish second as well. Ryan was on the fourth-place 'B' squad in the 200 medley relay as well.
Greta Saville (Mordialloc, Australia) placed second in the 200 free in a time of 1:54.27 while
Ditta Kowalik (State College, PA/State College Area) was third in 1:55.48 and local swimmer,
Sam Heiland (West Chester, PA/West Chester East), fourth in 1:55.64.
Molly Hubal (Archbald, PA/Valley View) placed third in the 100 breast behind both Ryan and Kil as the Golden Rams swept the top three spots in that event. She placed fourth in the 200 breast as the purple & gold contingent took three of the top four spots there.
Lava Piuva (Malmo, Sweden) was runner-up in the 50 free (24.02), and Heiland was fourth (24.43). Piuva placed third in the 100 free just ahead of Heiland again.
Samantha Kil (Enola, PA/East Pennsboro) was sixth.
Michalina Jasinska (Warsaw, Poland) was second in the 200 backstroke in a time of 2:03.80 while
