LOCK HAVEN, PA – West Chester University senior swimmer,
Lenya Ryan (Wilmington, Del./Mt. Pleasant) was name the female swimming athlete of the week by the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Tuesday afternoon.
The senior swimmer saved one of her best performances for Senior Night in a dual meet against University of Pennsylvania Friday. Ryan won three individual events against Division I Penn. She won both the 100-yard and 200 breaststroke as well as the 200 individual medley. She posted a time of 1:04.75 in the 100 breast and 2:17.84 in the 200 breast. Her 200 IM winning time was 2:06.81.
Ryan and West Chester will be back in action when the PSAC Swimming Championships take place next month, Feb. 18-21.
