WEST CHESTER, Pa.- The West Chester University women's volleyball team (8-8, 1-2) returns home this weekend to start a stretch that will see the Golden Rams play four of five at home through an October 16
th clash with East Stroudsburg as the second half of PSAC East play gets underway. West Chester will host Lock Haven (10-5, 3-1) on Friday night at 6 p.m. before hosting Kutztown (14-3, 2-1) on Saturday at 1 p.m. on what the Golden Rams have designated as Alumni Day in Hollinger Field House.

- West Chester picked up another split last weekend, falling to East Stroudsburg by a 3-1 final before bouncing back with a dominant 3-0 victory over Lackawanna on Saturday to finish September at 8-8 on the season. Gwen Atkins (Morristown, N.J./Morristown) leads West Chester in kills with 147, while Anna Richardson (Smyrna, Del./Smyrna) is second with 137. Ada Koksal (Istanbul, Turkey/Terakki) leads West Chester in assists with 316, while Brooke Forester (Langhorne, Pa./Conwell Egan) leads the team in aces with 25. Hailey Atkins (Morristown, N.J./Morristown) leads West Chester in digs with 180, while Julia Kwitchoff (Niagara Falls, N.Y./Niagara Wheatfield) is first in blocks with 51.
- With a sweep this weekend, head coach Kassie Bellaver would record her 400th career victory as the Golden Rams head coach. Bellaver reached the 400-win plateau during the 2023 season and entered 2026 just 10 wins shy of her 400th as head coach of the Golden Rams.
- Lock Haven enters the weekend at 10-5 on the season and 3-1 in league action following wins over Shippensburg and Millersville on September 26 and 29, respectively. Lock Haven enters Friday night with wins in five of its last six matches, with the lone loss during that stretch being a 3-1 setback at Shepherd on September 25. Maddie Mitchell leads the team in kills with 140, followed by Reagan Irons with 114. Payton Stanton is first in blocks with 23. Natalie Gibson leads Lock Haven in assists with 512 and is second in digs with 139, trailing only Olivia Taylor and her 356. Taylor also leads the Bald Eagles in aces with 31.
- Kutztown enters play at 14-3 overall and 2-1 in league action after splitting matches last weekend with Millersville and St. Thomas Aquinas to finish September. Before visiting West Chester on Saturday, Kutztown will host Bloomsburg on Friday night at Brandywine Heights High School in Mertztown as Keystone Arena undergoes renovations. Paige Skinner leads Kutztown in kills with 241 and aces with 27, while Ellie White leads the team in blocks with 47. Emma Baldridge leads the team in assists with 345, and Saige Thibodeaux leads in digs with 282.
- West Chester enters the weekend at 12-31 all-time against Lock Haven, although the Golden Rams have won four of five and 12-of-15 since 2015. West Chester holds a 34-24 lead over Kutztown since 1997, including a series sweep of the Golden Bears last season. West Chester is 14-3 against Kutztown in Hollinger since 2007 and has lost to the Golden Bears at home since November 2011.
