Grace Keen (Lincoln University, Pa./Avon Grove) was named PSAC East Defensive Player of the Week for her efforts in a pair of wins last week.
Keen made 15 saves over the course of two victories last week as she led the Golden Rams to a 3-1 win over Shepherd at home on Wednesday with six stops before making nine saves in a 3-0 shutout victory over Bloomsburg on Saturday. With these victories, West Chester is now 8-1-1 overall and 7-1-1 in league play, and Keen is just four wins shy of matching Hilary Smart for second in team history in wins with 54 as she picked up her 50
th career victory on Saturday afternoon.
West Chester will return to action on Wednesday at Millersville beginning at 7 p.m.
