Gabe Moss (Pottstown, Pa./The Hill School) earned East Athlete of the Week honors after a pair of outstanding games last week.
Moss had an excellent week for the PSAC East, leading the West Chester men's basketball team as the forward scored in double figures in a pair of games, including his first double-double as a Golden Ram on Wednesday night at Shepherd. At Shepherd, Moss scored 17 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, while also coming away with a block and a steal in the win over the Rams. Moss scored his 17 points on 7-of-10 shooting before coming one point shy of matching his career high as a Golden Ram with 23 points on 10-of-13 shooting in the win over Lock Haven on Saturday. In addition to his 23 points, Moss also recorded eight rebounds, three assists, a steal, and a block in the win over the Bald Eagles.
West Chester will be back in action on Wednesday at Millersville as the Golden Rams look to close out their second consecutive PSAC East Regular Season title this week with marquee matchups against Millersville and East Stroudsburg.
