WEST CHESTER, Pa.- The National Intercollegiate Rugby Association (NIRA) released its All-Academic team on Thursday afternoon, and West Chester was represented by eight players on the academic squad.
Following the same criteria as the Collegiate Sports Communicators (CSC), student-athletes must be at least a sophomore, possess a grade-point average of at least 3.50, and have played in at least 50 percent of the Institution's games.
West Chester enjoyed another successful season in 2025-26, advancing to the NIRA Division II Championship game for the first time since 2021 after a semifinal round victory over Bowdoin. The spring season concluded at the Collegiate Rugby 7s Championships in Washington, D.C. for the third time in as many years.

Roberts), Sofia Lasonio (Lancaster, Pa./Hempfield), Alyssa Miller (Philadelphia, Pa./Girard Academic Music Program), Mia Moore (Havertown, Pa./Haverford), and Carleigh Welsh (Harrisburg, Pa./Susquehanna Township).
