WEST CHESTER, Pa.- The National Intercollegiate Rugby Association (NIRA) released its All-Academic team on Thursday afternoon, and West Chester was represented by eight players on the academic squad.
Following the same criteria as the Collegiate Sports Communicators (CSC), student-athletes must be at least a sophomore, possess a grade-point average of at least 3.50, and have played in at least 50 percent of the Institution's games.
West Chester enjoyed another successful season in 2025-26, advancing to the NIRA Division II Championship game for the first time since 2021 after a semifinal round victory over Bowdoin. The spring season concluded at the Collegiate Rugby 7s Championships in Washington, D.C. for the third time in as many years.
