Julia O'Brien (New Holland, Pa./Garden Spot) added 10 to lead West Chester to a 3-0 sweep over Notre Dame (Ohio) on the first day of the 2014 Ram Fest Tournament inside Hollinger Field House Friday night.

The Golden Rams captured the match with wins by the measure of 25-19, 25-16 and 25-18.

West Chester posted a .292 hitting percentage (46 kills, 13 errors, 113 attempts) while holding Notre Dame to a .106 percentage. A big reason for Falcons' low percentage was the Golden Rams' 10 team blocks. Junior
Cara Reese (Pittsburgh, Pa./Fox Chapel), who sat out all last year with an injury, made her triumphant return with six blocks to go along with six kills.

Annalee Halbert (Port Murray, N.J./West Morris Central), also returning from a season-ending injury a year ago, registered 30 assists in her usual role as setter.
Callie Krajcir (Allentown, Pa./Parkland) notched a team-best 20 digs while
Marina Sharkey (Newtown Square, Pa./Archbishop Carroll) added 10 digs.
West Chester will take on Davis & Elkins at 10 a.m. on the final day of the two-day tournament, before finishing up at 4 p.m. against Philadelphia University.
