Three Golden Rams Earn All-PSAC Honors

LOCK HAVEN, Pa.- The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference released its All-Conference Honorees on Wednesday afternoon and a trio of Golden Rams were honored as Julia Kirkpatrick (Brick N.J./Brick Township), Jenny Bail (Carlisle, Pa./Cumberland Valley), and Linzi Wolfe (Quakertown, Pa./Quakertown) were all named All-Conference by the loops coaches.

Kirkpatrick was named first-team All-PSAC once again in 2018 after another stellar season on the West Chester backline. Kirkpatrick was an integral member of the West Chester defense that held opponents to just 8.9 shots per game and 0.67 goals per game. Kirkpatrick also played a major role in shutting down one of the conferences most explosive players Athlete of the Year Marah Foltz from Lock Haven who was held scoreless in two games against West Chester.  Kirkpatrick also contributed offensively in 2018 recording two goals and an assist to help bolster the West Chester offense.

Bail found her way onto the second-team once again in 2018 after playing in 13 games earning the start in 12 of those games. Bail ended the season tied for fourth on the team in points with six after scoring two goals and adding two assists to help the West Chester offense. Additionally, both of Bail's goals were game-winners as she scored the winner against Pitt-Johnstown and Shippensburg.

Finally, Wolfe who was named to the third team was a constant force for West Chester in 2018 as she earned the start in all 18 games. Over the course of these 18 games Wolfe scored three goals and added four assists for a total of 10 points, which places Wolfe third on the teams scoring leaderboard. Wolfe's biggest goal of the season came in West Chester's 1-0 victory over then No. 11 Kutztown in the last week of September.

West Chester will be back in action on Friday on the road at top-seed Bloomsburg with that game getting underway at 11 a.m.
