Women's Soccer Honored with United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award

KANSAS CITY, Mo.-
The United Soccer Coaches Association released its team academic awards on Thursday morning and the West Chester women's soccer team was one of the 382 women's soccer programs honored by the association. Additionally, West Chester is one of just 130 schools to have both its men's and women's soccer programs recognized by the association.

To be eligible for the team academic award, programs must record a team GPA of 3.0 or above.  West Chester earned the award after posting a team GPA of 3.67.  

Head Coach Betty Ann Kempf Townsley and the Golden Rams are slated to open their new season on Thursday, August 25th at home against Jefferson beginning at 1 p.m.
