BETHLEHEM, Pa.- After a strong showing at the Main Line Invitational in Havertown two weeks ago, the West Chester University men's cross country team is ready for its next challenge as the Golden Rams head to 50
th annual Paul Short Run at Lehigh University on Saturday afternoon beginning at 1:45 p.m.

West Chester had a well-deserved week off from competition last week to prepare for the Paul Short Invitational after finishing sixth at the Haverford College Main Line Invitational.
Jason Vogt paced the Golden Rams in this race, finishing 36
th in 21 minutes and 24.0 seconds, while
Jason Shumaker was close behind in 44
th in a time of 21:38.80 seconds.
Matt Remishofski and Sean Fisher rounded out West Chester in the top-50, crossing the line 21:38.90 and 21:40.40 to finish in 47
th and 48
th, respectively.
The Field
West Chester will be part of history in the Lehigh Valley this weekend as the Paul Short Run celebrates its 50
th Anniversary and for the first time is split into two days with high school races occurring on Friday, while collegiate races will be held Saturday, which allowed the field to expand for the 50
th anniversary. West Chester is scheduled to compete in the Brown division race beginning at 1:45 p.m. alongside most Division II programs and a handful of Division I programs including Canisius, Loyola (Md.), Marist, New Hampshire, Niagara, and Quinnipiac.
