Mike LaRosa announced the date for an open tryout for the Golden Rams' baseball program. Tryouts will be held on Sep. 10 at 5 p.m. at Serpico Stadium for potential walk-ons.
Anyone interested will need to complete the health assessment form attached above and submit results from a Sickle Cell Trait Test (SST) prior to tryouts. Student-athletes providing SST blood test results can either obtain records from their newborn screening results, or obtain a new blood test to screen for SST.
Prospective tryout participants need to email Coach LaRosa at mlarosa@wcupa.edu no later than August 23 to ensure enough time for compliance paperwork and health screens to be completed prior to the tryout date.
