UNIONVILLE, Pa.- Jorge Rinker (Orfield, Pa./Parkland) finished sixth in 16 minutes and 21.4 seconds to lead the West Chester University men's cross country team to a fourth-place team finish at the Golden Ram Invitational in Unionville on Saturday morning.
Rinker led a pentad of Golden Rams on the 5K course on Saturday morning as
Nevon Ganskopp (Stratford, N.J./Sterling) and
Ryan Wack (Nazareth, Pa./Nazareth) joined him in the top-20 in 13
th and 15
th in 17:23.0 and 17:28.2, respectively.
Vincent Frankina (Huntingdon Valley, Pa./Lower Moreland) was 24
th in 18:26.5 while
Louie Edgecumbe (West Chester, Pa./Rustin) rounded out the Golden Rams in 38
th in 20:28.9.
Goldey Beacom claimed the team title with a score of 41 thanks to second and third place finishes from John Ferry (16:09.1) and Eerik Wihlborg (16:13.7), while Humed Nura of Coppin State won the individual crown in 15:51.9.
