WEST CHESTER, Pa.- The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) released its first Division II women's soccer regional rankings of the year on Wednesday afternoon. West Chester (10-1-4) was listed as one of nine teams under consideration for the first numerical rankings of the year next Wednesday afternoon.

The Golden Rams are looking to return to the NCAA Tournament in 2025 after their 20-year NCAA Tournament appearance streak, which was tied for the longest and longest active streak in Division II women's soccer history, was halted a year ago.
West Chester is one of seven PSAC teams in the initial rankings as the Golden Rams are joined by Bloomsburg, Gannon, Indiana (Pa.), Kutztown, Shepherd, and Slippery Rock.
The Golden Rams completed their October slate earlier today with a 2-2 draw at Shepherd, which extended the squad's unbeaten streak to 11 in a row as No. 16 West Chester played to a record of 6-0-2 in October, with the lone draws being against Shepherd.
West Chester will play its final regular-season home game on Saturday against Lock Haven at 2 p.m. before wrapping up the regular season on November 5 at East Stroudsburg, beginning at 7 p.m.
