WEST CHESTER, Pa.- The West Chester University women's soccer team (13-1-4) remained atop the Atlantic Regional rankings as released by the Division II Women's Soccer National Committee on Wednesday afternoon.
West Chester wrapped up its first outright PSAC East Regular Season title since 2022 last week with a 2-0 road victory over East Stroudsburg and opened the PSAC Tournament with a victory over Clarion on Tuesday, although this victory was not accounted for in the latest regional rankings.
Gannon remained second in the rankings, followed by Shepherd, Kutztown, and West Virginia State, while Slippery Rock, Indiana (Pa.), Fairmont State, and Concord occupied spots six through nine.
West Chester remains 15
th in Division II women's soccer in the latest United Soccer Coaches poll and will put its 14-game unbeaten streak on the line once again on Friday against Shepherd in the PSAC Semifinals on Rockwell Field beginning at 1 p.m.
