WEST CHESTER, Pa.- The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) released its second set of Division II Regional Rankings on Wednesday afternoon. Today's rankings saw West Chester (11-1-4) ranked first in the Atlantic Region, the first numbered rankings of the 2025 season after last week's initial rankings were alphabetical.
West Chester will put its 12-game unbeaten streak to the test tonight against East Stroudsburg in the regular-season finale as the Golden Rams look to stretch their streak to 13 and capture the outright PSAC East Regular Season crown.
West Chester was one of seven teams in the top nine of the Atlantic Regional rankings, with Gannon, Slippery Rock, Kutztown, and Indiana rounding out the top five, followed by Shepherd and Bloomsburg in sixth and seventh. West Virginia State and Fairmont State were the lone two Mountain East teams in the top nine in eighth and ninth, respectively.
West Chester earned the top seed in the PSAC Tournament and will be in line to host PSAC Championship weekend on November 14 and 16, provided that they win their quarterfinal on Tuesday, November 11, on Rockwell Field. This game is set to begin at 1 p.m.
