CLARION, Pa.- The West Chester University women's diving team is finishing its preparations for the Pennsylvania Division II Diving Invitational ahead of its beginning on Friday at Clarion University. The competition is slated to begin on Friday at 5 p.m., with the second day of competition on Saturday beginning at 12 p.m.

Alicia McHugh (Jenkintown, Pa./Abington) turned in a pair of third-place finishes to lead the West Chester University women's diving team at La Salle on Saturday afternoon. On the three-meter board, McHugh took third with a score of 226.80, while
Kacey Lenz (Swarthmore, Pa./Ridley) was fourth with a 225.30. McHugh followed this up with a score of 240.83 to finish on the one-meter board, while Lenz took fifth with a 211.43.
The Last Time
When West Chester competed at the PA Diving Invitational for the first time a year ago, McHugh led the team on day one with a host of top-five finishes as she took fifth on both one-meter boards (6 and 11 dive), scoring 219.25 on the six-dive and 380.20 on the 11-dive before also taking fifth on the six-dive three-meter board with a score of 210.35. McHugh also took fourth on the 11-dive three-meter board with a 361.45. On day two, McHugh won the 11-dive one and three-meter boards with scores of 389.15 and 387.90, respectively. She also placed fifth on both six-meter boards with scores of 225.75 and 218.60, respectively.
