LOCK HAVEN, Pa.- The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) released its women's soccer weekly awards on Monday afternoon.
Kianna Barber (Browns Mills, N.J./BCIT) earned PSAC East Athlete of the Week honors after scoring the game-winner for West Chester against both Kutztown and Lock Haven a week ago.
Barber continued her hot streak this week as she scored the game-winner against Kutztown and Lock Haven as part of an outstanding five-point week. Against Kutztown, Barber scored midway through the second half, and that goal was the difference in a statement 1-0 win over the Golden Bears. On Saturday night at Lock Haven, Barber scored the game-winner and assisted on another goal for her second game-winner of the week and fourth goal in five games.
West Chester will be back in action on Wednesday afternoon vs East Stroudsburg, beginning at 1 p.m.
