DAY 2 RESULTS
YORK, PA – West Chester swimmers got a pair of runner-up performances from the ladies as the Golden Rams continue to lead the pack after the second day of competition at the 2026 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Swimming Championships inside the York YMCA Thursday evening.
West Chester now leads the field on the team leaderboard with 634 points to build a 109.5-point lead over second place IUP, who made a move up the standings and now has 524.5 points. Clarion switched places with Bloomsburg and now sits in third with 497.5 points. The Huskies are fourth with 462.
Lenya Ryan (Wilmington, Del./Mt. Pleasant) claimed second place in the 400-yard individual medley after winning the 200 IM on Wednesday evening. She posted a time of 4:27.28. Teammate
Anna Evans (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn) was fourth in 4:30.80.
Molly Hubal (Archbald, Pa./Valley View) finished third in the 'B' Final to place 11th overall in that event.
Freshman
Lava Piuva () finished fifth in the 200 freestyle for the Golden Rams, touching the wall in 1:53.25, while
Greta Saville (Mordialloc, Australia) was seventh in 1:54.00 flat.
Ditta Kowalik (State College, Pa./State College Area) tied for first in the 'B' Final to place ninth overall.
Sam Heiland (West Chester, Pa./West Chester East) was 15th overall.
Bella Kil (Enola, Pa./East Pennsboro) and her younger sister,
Sam Kil, placed fifth and eighth, respectively, in the 100 butterfly.
The Golden Rams' 400 medley relay team consisting of
Michalina Jasinska (Warsaw, Poland), Ryan,
Bella Kil and Saville took second place in a time of 3:48.51 to close out Day 2.
Day 3 of the PSAC Swimming Championships gets under way Friday morning with prelims at 10 a.m. in 500 free, 100 backstroke, 100 breaststroke and 200 butterfly. The 200 medley relay will be competed in the evening session with the finals in the individual events mentioned above.
