West Chester Women’s Swimming Wins Another Conference Title

COMPLETE RESULTS - 2026 PSAC SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIPS


YORK, PA – West Chester University won two more individual events on Saturday night to clinch the school's fourth consecutive team title and 18th straight in a championship meet in which the Golden Rams competed inside the York YMCA Graham Pool.
 
West Chester won its 23rd team title, the second-most of any school in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) heading up the team leaderboard from wire to wire over the four-day event.
 
Greta Saville (Mordialloc, Australia) won her third individual title of the championship meet by taking first in the 1650-yard freestyle to open the final night of the competition in 17 minutes, 0.37 seconds. Ditta Kowalik (State College, Pa./State College Area) was fourth in 17:35.91 while Katherine Grant (Wilmington, Del./Brandywine) was fifth in 17:36.42. Margaret Getty (Sewickley, Pa./Quaker Valley) placed 12th overall while Amy Masciulli (Harleysville, Pa./ Souderton) was 15th.
 
Lenya Ryan (Wilmington, Del./Mt. Pleasant) won her second individual title by winning the 200 breaststroke in 2:17.63 at the end of the night. (Enola, PA East Pennsboro) was second in 2:18.01 while Molly Hubal (Archbald, Pa./Valley View) was fifth in 2:22.12.
 
Michalina Jasinska (Warsaw, Poland) swam runner-up in the 200 backstroke. She touched the wall in 2:02.47 while Anna Evans (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn) was third in 2:04.39. Allie DeFrehn (Mullica Hill, N.J./Clearview Regional) placed 12th by finishing fourth in the 'B' Final.
 
Lava Piuva (Malmo, Sweden) was the lone Golden Ram in the 'A' Final of the 100 freestyle. She placed sixth in a time of 51.83 seconds. Sam Heiland (West Chester, Pa./West Chester East) was 14th, Sam Kil (Enola, PA East Pennsboro) was 20th and Alexis Nonnemacher (Reading, Pa./Exeter) was 41st.
 
The 400 free relay closed out the 2026 PSAC Swimming Championships with a third-place showing. The foursome of Jasinska, Heiland, Piuva and Saville posted a time of 3:28.44.
 
West Chester will now wait for the announcement of the NCAA Division II Swimming & Diving Championships field to see whose swim seasons continue.
