INDIANAPOLIS, IND – West Chester University had two swimmers selected for the 2026 NCAA Division II Men's Swimming & Diving Championships it was announced Wednesday afternoon. They will swim three events at the championships.

The Golden Rams will be represented by senior
Paul Demesy (Saint Ulrich, France) and freshman
Marti Rosell Diez (L'Albiol, Spain). Demesy will swim the 500-yard freestyle and the 1650 free. Diez will also swim the 500 for the Golden Rams. Demesy will swim his sixth and seventh events at the national championships. He qualified in the 500 a year ago and the 1650 both last year and his freshman year in 2023. Demesy was the national runner-up in the mile last March and placed 10th overall in the 500 with a runner-up showing in the 'B' Final.

Diez is making his first national meet appearance. Senior
Kolos Nagy (Szazhalombatta, Hungary) was listed as an alternate in the 400 Individual Medley. His second event would be the 200 IM.

The men's and women's championships will be held at Deaconess Aquatic Center in Evansville, Ind., on Tuesday, March 10 through Saturday, March 14.Â
