Saville Finishes the 1000 Free 20th while Ryan Finishes 27th in the 200 IM

EVANSVILLE, IN – Freshman distance swimmer, Greta Saville (Mordialloc, Australia) put up a time of 10 minutes, 17.32 seconds in the 1000-yard freestyle in the morning session while Lenya Ryan (Wilmington, Del./Mt. Pleasant) finished 27th overall in the 200 Individual Medley on the second day of competition at the 2026 NCAA Division II Swimming & Diving National Championships.
 
Saville's time of 10:17.32 was good for 12th place following the morning session. She slid to 20th spot after the distance swimmers in the evening session finished their races. Ryan posted a time of 2:05.06 in the prelims of the 200 IM, but did not advance to the finals in the evening.
 
The third day of competition opens up tomorrow morning with prelims in the 400 IM where Ryan will be back in the pool.
