            During Kathleen's intercollegiate days at WCU, she excelled on the Lady Rams diving, field hockey and lacrosse teams. Upon graduation, Kathleen was hired as a health and physical education teacher and coach. As a teacher, Kathleen developed two new curriculums dealing with sex eduxation and was subsequently the first to teach this program. She also coached six different sports at the high school level, where she won three state titles and nine conference championships.
        In 1976, Kathleen was hired to develop and coach the first field hockey program at La Salle University. Four years later, La Salle won the NCAA Division I National Championship ans he was honored as "Coach of the Year". Kathleen also coached two players who went on to become members of the United States Fiels Hockey team in the 1980 and 1984 Olympics.
        Presently, Kathleen is the Assistant Athletic Director / Senior Woman Administrator at La Salle University. She is directly responsible for the eligibility and compliance requirements of the twenty-two sport program. Kathleen serves as the Chair of the NCAA Nominating Committee and Division I - IAAA Business Mettings. Kathleen also serves on the NCAA field Hockey Commitee and chairs the Mid-Atlantic Region. In this conference, Kathleen chairs the Senior Women's Committee, Women's Basketball, and Compliance?Elgibility Committees. Kathleen is currently working towards earning her Master's degree in Administration.
